On December 8, 2025 the City published the Request for Proposals 25-03 seeking bids for the construction phase of the project, including demolition of the existing lift station and construction of a new lift station.  To be considered, proposals must be received via email no later than January 16, 2026 no later than 2:00 pm Alaska Standard Time.
