Aalax Landfill Development
Funded by the EPA through the 2022 Consolidated Appropriations Act Projects, this project will develop a new solid waste disposal facility.
Airport Distribution Feeder Replacement Project
Reliable power is essential to support airport instrument landing systems and runway lighting. Funded by several sources, this project will replace the antiquated switch and install fiber optic cable to the Airport.
Bulk Fuel Facility/Dispensing Tankage Upgrade Project

Community Farm Project Planning
Funded by a Reinvestment Fund/America’s Healthy Food Financing Initiative Planning Grant, the objectives are to ensure food security, promote food independence by establishing a sustainable community food hub.
Drinking Water Resilience Improvements Project
This project aims to improve the City of Saint Paul’s drinking water system making the water system stronger, better able to handle natural disasters, and quicker to recover if something goes wrong.
Small Boat Harbor Utilities Expansion Project
This project will provide water, sewer, and electric utility upgrades to serve the small boat harbor and adjacent commercial area. It is a one of the Phase 1 improvements identified in the 2021 Saint Paul Island Harbor Improvements & Expansion Feasibility Study.
City South Dock Renovations and New Berthing Dolphins
Funded by the US Dept. of Transportation Maritime Administration and the Denali Commission, this project will renovate the city south dock and install berthing dolphins, fenders and catwalk to increase mooring length.
Wastewater Lift Stations Project
Funded by the State of Alaska, Dept. of Environmental Conservation, Village Safe Water Program, this project will develop sustainable sanitation facilities.
