Bids were publicly opened on February 3, 2026, all of which exceeded the federal award from the Economic Development Administration (EDA). The City worked with Kuna Engineering to amend the RFP to be reposted.  

The amendment made no changes to the drawings or the scope of work. The amendment provides a base bid and alternatives structure in order to achieve the maximum project scope within the available budget. Under this amendment, we have defined the critical project scope components as the ‘base’ and defined specific additional components as ‘alternates’ which will be added to the base in a pre-defined order to establish the low bid. The contract will be awarded to the lowest bid.

The new deadline for proposals is March 12, 2026.
