The City of Saint Paul was recently awarded a Supplemental Planning Grant award from the US Department of Transportation’s Safe Streets and Roads For All Program.

The City received its first planning grant in 2022 which led to the successful development of the Pribilof Islands Regional Transportation Safety Action Plan, adopted in February 2025. 

During that process it was identified that additional planning and supplemental funding was needed to perform road safety audits and a road lighting plan. This supplemental grant award will provide the necessary funding to complete these additions which will be incorporated into the Safety Action Plan in 2027.
