The City of Saint Paul was selected as a recipient of a $4,651,170 grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to support drinking water systems in underserved, small, and disadvantaged communities while reducing impacts of climate change.

Most heavy equipment and materials for the Aalax Landfill has arrived on island. Heavy equipment includes: water trailer, aluminum flatbed, loader, excavator, refuse truck and hooklift truck. Materials include: hooklift drop boxes, a burn box, fencing, gates, and signs.
