PND Engineering and the City have begun meeting with USDOT MARAD staff to begin the environmental review process for both this project and the City South Dock Renovations and New Berthing Dolphins Project. PND is planning to conduct a site visit sometime this fall.

Contractor Selected for Flood Mitigation Project
Four proposals in response to RFP 26-05 were received by the deadline of June 30, 2026. The City team reviewed and scored proposals. On July 17, the City issued a Notice of Intent to Award to Dowl. The City and Dowl are in contract negotiations.
